Why I Volunteer With Convivio

I love being Italian and everything Italian—the language, the culture, the history, and of course, the food. I am a first generation American with my ancestors going back to the 1500’s in Carini, Palermo, Sicily. I also have over 25 years volunteering as either a member or serving on the board as Recording Secretary and as President or Board Chair. I love the mission of Convivio and want to help keep the Italian culture flourishing in San Diego, as well as helping to provide a place for all to gather, to have fun, and share and learn from one another.
