We’re thrilled to be participating in the San Diego Architectural Foundation’s event, OH! San Diego (that’s short for Open House, if you wondered).
This annual event highlights architectural treasures across San Diego’s many neighborhoods, including:
- Downtown San Diego
- Bankers Hill
- Balboa Park
- Barrio Logan
- Point Loma
- La Jolla
- Coronado
This is a free event that lets you go behind the scenes to learn more about architecture and design in San Diego. There will be self-guided, guided, and expert-led tours this weekend (March 7 and 8).
Stop By and See the Amici House
This is our third year of participating in OH! San Diego, and we love showing off Convivio’s home, the Amici House. This craftsman-style home was built in the 1880s, originally located on Date and India Streets. It was moved to our current location several years ago, and is now host to multiple cultural programs and events.
We will have brief, guided neighborhood tours that include the Firehouse Museum, Our Lady of the Rosary, and the piazza Saturday and Sunday at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM. We will be open from 10 AM to 4 PM on Saturday and Sunday to talk about the house’s history, neighborhood heritage, and our programs and events.
We are located at 250 W. Date Street, and there is paid parking adjacent to our space in the Washington Elementary School lot.
You can get more information on OH! San Diego, including a map and schedules, here.
