Calling all Creatives!

Dear Little Italy Community,

In the very near future, Convivio will be launching a creative effort that will bring together the best of Italian American culture, fashion, travel tips and features of local Italian businesses. It’s a vision that will enrich Little Italy and Beyond. This project will bring together multi-media artists, writers, storytellers, and community members to participate in the creation of something concrete, tangible, and lasting, which will be a benefit to residents of Little Italy and within the city of San Diego at large.

Our call to action for you is simple: Take an audit of your talents. Are you a writer, or a photographer? Do you have a story to tell about Little Italy, about your family, or about Italian Vacations that are worth sharing? Do you have photographs of the community from the old days, or from recent events which will soon become ‘the old days’?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, please keep an eye on Convivio Social Media accounts where we will be creating a call for submissions for a new project very soon. We are hoping for wide and full participation from the community – not just on the production side of the project, but on the enjoyment side of it too.We’re looking forward to making an announcement to you here soon!
